We base our acceptance or rejection decisions on contracts, drawings, specifications, standards, and reference documents. In the documents, we define three classes of products:

Class 1 — PCBs for general electronic products. These include equipment where the primary requirement is functionality.

Class 2 — PCBs for electronic products for dedicated service. These include equipment where the primary requirement is continuous performance with extended life. For this equipment, uninterrupted functioning is necessary, but is not critical.

Class 3 — PCBs for electronic products with very high performance in harsh environments. These include equipment for which the on-demand performance is critical, and where downtime is not tolerable. Examples of such equipment are critical systems like life support.

The customer typically identifies the class for which the PCB is intended. We may classify the PCB when the customer is unable to do so.
